Scoopy Doo’s isn’t just a pet store. It’s a passion project created by two lifelong animal lovers who believe dogs (and the people who love them) deserve a place that’s truly their own.
Meet Dianna & Kyle
Dianna spent 25 years serving as a Sergeant with the New York City Police Department before trading city life for the sunshine of Delray Beach in 2013. Long before wearing a badge, she was the kid pushing stuffed animals around in a toy stroller while her friends played with dolls. Some things never change.
Since relocating to South Florida with her husband Scott, Dianna has devoted that lifelong passion for animals to fostering, volunteering, and supporting dog rescues around the world. For years, she dreamed of creating a place where people and their pets could simply enjoy spending time together. Scoopy Doo’s is the realization of that dream.
Kyle left New York to pursue two passions: entrepreneurship and animal welfare. Over the years, he’s fostered more dogs and cats than he can count, but one cat in particular, Jordie, stole his heart and made the move to Florida alongside him.
Not long after arriving in Florida, Kyle found the final piece of the puzzle: Scarlett, a spirited 28-pound rescue who entered his life during an adoption event and never left. Today, Scarlett serves as Scoopy Doo’s unofficial mascot, chief greeter, and one of the shop’s most recognizable faces.
Like his mom, Kyle grew up with rescue dogs and couldn’t imagine life any other way.
Our Mission
We built Scoopy Doo’s to be more than a pet store. It’s a welcoming gathering place where pets are celebrated, owners feel at home, and local rescue organizations can connect with the community through adoption events and fundraisers.
Whether you’re stopping by for a dog-friendly ice cream, picking up toys and treats, or bringing your pup in for grooming, you’ll always find the same thing: a team that truly loves animals and cares about your pet as much as you do.
